HNRSTUF and HNRPROG Disclaimer I Howard Richoux, being of relatively sound mind, on this 7th day of January, 1994, do hereby release the set of files designated by the directories HNRSTUF and HNRPROG into the PUBLIC DOMAIN. Everything I am releasing is placed in the PUBLIC DOMAIN. Simply put, Anyone is welcome to USE, ABUSE, PLAGERIZE, BORROW, take ideas from, ignore, or use commercially all of the code for which I supply source. At present, this is EVERYTHING*. I wouldn't mind a footnote in documentation somewhere, but this is NOT a requirement. I am very careful to only borrow code from things clearly marked as PUBLIC DOMAIN when I start, so the result should be likewise. DISCLAIMER 1 - Although I have no intention of providing code with bugs, I can not be responsible for any use you put the code to. The utilities work on my system, for my uses, to my satisfaction, and I can't claim anything further. Disclaimer aside, I really wish to support this code and fix any bugs brought to my attention, but I can't guarentee speedy turnaround. DISCLAIMER 2 - These utilities and libraries are evolving. I intend to make the evolution as painless as possible (since I am supporting 20+ utility programs at present, I try to make tools to ease transitions.) Evolution does involve death of species, procedure names change, disappear and sometimes whole units disappear. From the day I release the first version of the libraries, I will try to make the evolution as painless as possible, but, nothing is free. *The only possible exception to the Public Domain disclaimer above are the set of routines from the Turbo User Group, PO Box 1510, Poulsbo, WA, 98370. These routines are on directory HNRTUG. I can't find any specific statement in them about restrictions, but they should be safe to use. Commercial users should contact them directly (and let me know the outcome). If any restrictions are discovered, I will remove all references to them and code around them, they are not critical, just convenient.
